Caring For Kids from CARA

This is a thing I do each year, I collect toys for the children from CARA when them and their parents have suffered from domestic violence and abuse.  I travel far to  collect the toys that are for these children. Each center collects the toys and I pick them up to be dropped off to the Center for abused families.  I may get a lot and other years just a little. but the thing that counts is that these kids are given a little something.
   These children do not expect a lot. They are just happy to get what they get. donations come in to CARA and the staff there have woman come in and pick out things that they know will make their children happy.
     This year could have been better but I am still hopeful as I travel to just a few more centers.

Preschool Acoustic Christmas Show

Christmas acoustic show for the preschool  children all loved the party they had. Giving their all into singing the songs as they blurt out the words they love singing.  They had wonderful time before they had snack and the movement activities for the holidays. Christmas color streamers and bells for dancing with.  what a lovely party. they all sang you better watch out as I prompted Santa to come out for them.

Merry-oke 2014

Merry-oke  Christmas everyone getting ready for Christmas , and have new Christmas and artist music.  My monthly karaoke subscription saves the day again. Country stars like Kenny  Chesney, Darius Rucker, and Sara Evans .  artist like Idina Menzel  with Holiday wishes and Seth McFarland Holiday for Swing, and the newly released at Music awards " Santa Won't you tell me" by Ariana Grande.
    Doing parties for Kids  teens and adults. Kiddie-oke,   Karaoke, DJ and acoustical preschool shows are on the rise this holiday A Season Of joy. Ask Miss Darlene what songs you'd like; I can try to have them ready .
    I am doing a Christmas acoustic show for the preschool kids after Santa Arrives and the children open their gifts they will all sing along to their favorite holiday tunes.

 

Karaoke and DJ In Holiday Season

Hey been a while since Destination has posted a blog.  This year has been wild. With writing my new songs. Taking my Flamenco Guitar class, and hoping my nails will grow to play it better ( they are still breaking). Doing Camp , The Splash Zone party. Lots of Weddings and BQ's this year. Tis the Season...while  finally on my side and giving me time to write about the whole summer. This summer declined in My Kiddie oke  shows, I have been doing since 2001.  Teaching  music has been a wonder of all wonders. Camp kids are always changing their music with what they like and what they want to sing.
     Getting ready for Christmas, reorganizing getting a new hard drive so I can get more songs. The Most Wonderful Time of The Year... and the kids are going to sing the holiday songs as our.... Sleigh bells Ring... They'll be ringing  their... Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells... as Santa Clause is Coming to Town....  as they wait for Frosty The Snowman....and Here Comes Suzy Snow Flake..... We will... Wish You a Merry Christmas And a Happy NEW YEAR....
